Adisexual is a sexual orientation with two definitions:
- One only experiences sexual attraction when they and the person they are attracted to are not meeting/at the same place. (Ex. Two friends hanging out at a place, and there is no attraction. One leaves, and the other is then attracted to them.)
- One only experiences sexual attraction when they and the person they are attracted to are meeting/at the same place. (Ex. Two friends hanging out at a place, one is attracted to the other. One leaves and there is no attraction.)
Etymology[]
"Adi" in the orientation's name comes form the Spanish 'adios", meaning "goodbye".[3]
