Bluemoonsexual is a sexual orientation in which one is sexually attracted to people of all genders, but feels little to no romantic attraction to masculine/male-aligned people. On occasion, however, there are “spikes” of attraction to male/masculine people.
Bluemoonsexually is similar to can be considered to be under the multisexual and omnisexual umbrellas.
Etymology[]
Bluemoonsexual comes from the term “once in a blue moon”, referencing to the fact bluemoonsexuals may experience spikes of attraction to male/masculine people, “Once in a blue moon I feel attraction to males”.
