Duosemibisexuality is a sexual orientation that defines a person who feels sexual attraction towards two separate genders (usually one opposite and one aligned). Unlike Bisexuality, Duosemibisexuals only feel attraction to two genders at the most. This attraction does not necessarily require a preference. Another commonly used definition is "A Duosemibisexual is someone who is attracted to two genders but identifies strongly with the Semibisexual identity".

Some reasons why individuals might use this label are:

  • You experience attraction to mostly two genders, but you are flexible in it (biflexible/panflexible/omniflexible).
  • You have a very big preference towards two genders that blurs your attraction to other genders.
  • You are attracted to three or more sexes but to only two genders.
  • You are bi-curious, but don't find yourself attracted to any more than two genders.
  • You don't feel like the open-ended nature of bisexuality properly describes your experience.

Controversy[]

Many believe that this term should simply be considered as bisexual, as they don't understand the differences it has. In addition, because of the issues around the root term, semibisexuality, this term is hated by association.
