Homoaesthetic (also known as homosthetic) is an aesthetic orientation in which one experiences attraction to the same gender, or similar genders. It is the aesthetic equivalent of homosexual, homoromantic, homoplatonic, homosensual, etc. Homoaesthetic people are not necessarily a-spec.

It is unknown when the term itself was coined, but the first known use was in 2014.[2]
The flag was created on August 20, 2018 by Tumblr user beyond-mogai-pride-flags.[1]
