M-spec straight (also known as meserian and jupiteric) is a term for those that identify as both m-spec and straight in some way, or are questioning between the two. Straight queer and heteroflexible can also be used. Reasons for identifying as m-spec straight include:

  • Being multigender and/or fluid in gender, and considering one's attraction to be both m-spec and straight
  • Being fluid between m-spec and straight, or abro-
  • Individuals that are m-spec in one type of orientation and straight in another (ex. biromantic heterosexuals [may also be considered varioriented], pansexual homoromantic, bisensual heteroaesthetic, etc)
  • Having more attraction toward the opposite or dissimilar genders, or being attracted to multiple genders that are dissimilar
  • Being attracted to strayt individuals or non-binary individuals that identify as straight and the opposite gender

Common Definitions[]

A shorthand term for someone who is mspec straight. Meant to be a companion to lunian, solian, stellian, and the other astral alignments. Both flags are for the same thing, the right one just has more contrast for those who may have difficulty with the colors.

Deltheon: An alternate term for a multi-spec straight folk; an umbrella term folk bi straights, pan straights, omni straights and ply straights.

Some examples of deltheon specific experiences: a multiromantic heterosexual; an omnistraight; a penultisexual; a differosexual; an enanteic/contraic pluralian; m-spec individuals reclaiming str8 as a result of feeling ones’ attraction to certain gender(s)/person(s) is straight.

History[]

The term deltheon was coined by Tumblr user beyond-mogai-pride-flags on February 17, 2021, along with the alternate names "deltian", "delthian", "delteon", and "deltion". It was named after the fakémon Deltheor, which represents an eclipse. This is also the first known use of multi-spec/m-spec straight.[2]

The terms "meserian" and "jupiteric" were coined by Tumblr user kenochoric on July 20, 2021.[1]
