Ma- is a prefix used to describe the attraction towards men and masculinity; one who uses the prefix would be attracted to male presenting individuals. The prefix can be used alternatively or interchangeably with the prefix andro-.

The prefix is commonly used to describe a sexual or romantic attraction; for example, masexual or maromantic. And the usage of the prefix is intended to be more inclusive to male-presenting individuals not reliant on biological sex.

History[]

The term ma- was created as an alternative to androsexual due to its controversial use of the prefix andro- however both have the same meaning and which prefix one would use is up to the oriented.

Dates for coinage are either too vague or unknown.
