Mesdosexual or Mesdoromantic is an orientation in which a man is attracted only to AMAB individuals or male-bodied individuals. It is a sex-based attraction. This includes cis men, transgender women, and/or AMAB-enbies. A Mesdosexual individual is not attracted to the transgender non-man individual's gender, but instead their sex. Whereas for cis men, they are attracted to both their gender and their sex.
Sex characteristics play a crucial role for a Mesdosexual individual's attraction, but they can be any combination of characteristics, depending on the person in subject's preferences, as the label may include Intersex individuals or other gender modalities. As long as an individual — regardless of their identifying gender — contains a sex characteristic only found in males, a Mesdosexual person may find themself attracted to them.
