Mono- is a prefix for identities where one is only attracted to one gender. This can apply to any type of attraction.
Mono-, meaning single, is the opposite poly- and multi-, which mean multiple. Example: Monoamorous refers to someone who is exclusively in love with a single person at a time, whereas Polyamorous refers to someone who has romantic or sexual relationships with multiple partners at once.
