Novisexual is feeling complicated attraction or lack thereof in such a way that it is difficult or impossible to fit into one word or term in terms of sexual orientation. It is under the pomosexual umbrella. The romantic equivalent is noviromantic.
The term was based on novigender.[1]

The term was coined on July 6, 2014 by Tumblr blog pride-flags-for-us.[1]
An alt flag was created by Reddit user MochiSepia on April 13, 2022, alongside an alternate flag for noviromantic.[2]
