Varioriented refers to someone whose romantic attraction and sexual attraction are "mismatched," split, mixed or and incongruent with each other. It is known as having "split attraction." Varioriented may also refer to someone whose genderal attraction and somatic attraction don't match.
Varioriented people usually use the split attraction model in order to distinguish the difference between the way they experience romantic and sexual attraction. Examples of varioriented people include biromantic asexual, aromantic heterosexual, homoromantic bisexual, biromantic homosexual, etc.
The opposite of being varioriented is perioriented.
